Home depot and lowes are kind enough to offer rental services, but thats not their primary business. Home depot is probably the worst place to buy appliances, let alone extended warranties. I'm sure lots of folks use them and have no problem. I’m 18 years and have a high school diploma.

Extended warranties are only worth it from local, independent appliance dealers with their own service department. I know the general consensus with most extended warranties or protection plans is they are not worth it. The retail industry sucks, period. We’re just one nugget in a gigantic steaming pile of turds.
