Another thing to play with. At present it is not showing and i don't know why. I don't know if you know, but in notepad++, if you add the compare plugin, you can easily see the differences between two [ or more ].txt files, as well as.bat,.cmd, and.ps1 files etc. How do i get that to show?

I can't download & install the windows notepad app from ms store anymore they changed the windows system requirements to be using at least win10 build 19541 or greater!
One advantage that i find extremely useful on a regular basis is that it can compare text files and highlights the differences between two or more files. Above is the way i want it to show. Notepad++ version 7.6.5 has just been released.
