Menards carries a lot of cheap stuff (some diamonds in the rough mixed in) but also a lot of name brand stuff that's just as good or better than some of the home depot stuff. I saw for halloween stuff they had a clearance sale starting like a week or two before halloween, and it kept. Customers, contractors, and team members are all welcome! The last time i looked at one with what the total costs would be, it was about 3x what the kit.
They’re fine overall if you’re not expecting high quality. Seems like working anywhere in a big box store sucks ass (not that it's new) but would you say menards is the less crappy of… Ok, the menards kits can give you a an idea of what different types, sizes, styles will run you.
