Menards is privately owned and works under a completely different business model. I like our menards but sometimes have a hard time finding items compared to lowe’s (whose app tells you the specific location of an item). Menards carries a lot of cheap stuff (some diamonds in the rough mixed in) but also a lot of name brand stuff that's just as good or better than some of the home depot stuff.

The first set really started to suck after about three months; Close outs and clearance hey there, can any of you menards experts share some insights regarding how clearance and close outs occur at the stores, are there multiple clearance sections in. Anyone know the typical clearance schedule for menards on seasonal stuff?
They’re fine overall if you’re not expecting high quality. The last time i looked at one with what the total costs would be, it was about 3x what the kit. Save big money at menards!
