Let's assume that planet orbits sun with a perfect circular orbit. If force by which sun pulls planet is gm1m2 r2 g m 1 m 2 r 2, and f = ma f = m a than a = gm1 r2 a = g m 1 r. How long until the sun gets burned down to the point where it cannot sustain life on earth anymore?

Let's say a wizard magicked jupiter into the sun, with or without high velocity. Everytime i see the pics of suset on beaches the sun appear to go all the way down to the surface of the sea (as shown in the picture) but when i see sunset in my region ,. Assume you're talking to someone ignorant of the basic facts of astronomy.
The earth takes 24 hours to spin around its own axis and 365 days to spin around the sun.
The sun will last, at its current brightness for 9 billion more years. As i asked before, separate. Similarly, how would you prove to them. My understanding is that the sun is basically a sphere of hydrogen with a helium core, and that the hydrogen is undergoing nuclear fusion to produce helium.
Those are completely different things. It's consensus that the very similar apparent sizes of the moon and the sun as seen from earth is a coincidence (as already answered in this site). This question is inspired by a similar one asked on quora. How would you prove to them that earth orbits the sun?
So in approximately half a year the earth will have spun around its axis 182.5 times.
