I’m trying to split the original mnist test set into a validation and a test set of the same size. Instead of using pytorch, tf, kears framwork which help to use dataset easily, i tried using mnist module directly. I'm working with python 3.5 and tensorflow on windows. The mnist dataset object (implemented here) does not have an image property, but it does have an images property.
