Not just ones like “peace” or “lion,” though those are also cool meanings, but more like. I’m getting close to due with baby boy and we still haven’t settled on a name! We like jacob finn but not sure it goes.
Hi , so as you may know the y2k or 2000’s aesthetic is a popular trend in fashion , tv , movies etc.
They don’t make a show of them or explain them up so we can find them acceptable— their names are their names. Ideally more classic/traditional names, but i’m open to other styles as well if they fit. I thought it would be fun to create a collection of names that fit this aesthetic. So i kind of crush on some fairly old names, including some that may sound.
After lots and lots and lots of searching it seems the closest we’ve come to agreeing on something is. I’d love to hear any additional feminine names you can come up that have this nickname pattern! I grew up reading my mom’s childhood favorite books, and some of those date to decades before she was born. I love that they just didn’t care about how their names were perceived.
