The central board of indirect taxes and customs determines the rate of exchange of foreign currency equivalent to indian rupees for the purpose related to imported and export goods: Exchange rate for foreign currency rates for imports & exports as of 28/01/2026 as per dgft & cbic customs. This is issued every month by indian customs.
The exchange rate for customs valuation refers to the conversion rate used by customs authorities to determine the assessable value of imported or exported goods when transactions are.
