Though there are some differences like wu and its wundermap showing home weather stations. How does one go about doing this? Because each have a solid following but yes the forecasts are identical for each app. Is there an alternative to wunderground that has a similar network of personal weather stations?
The only reason i even bother with wu anymore is because of the map with all the local weather stations. I had an accurite but they decided to obsolete the part that transmitted data to wunderground so i got rid of it and bought an ambient weather station, and zero complaints for 2 years so far. Wunderground debuted in 1995, so this doesn’t surprise me at all. Weather underground announced it is discontinuing it's webcam hosting service on oct.
It was good when it first came out, and as years went by, it started to become obsolete.
I'm trying to add the ecowitt wittboy on wunderground, but there aren't any ecowitt devices listed there at all.
