I have previously had both applications running for several. Given that norton vpn isn't enabled by reading that statement, nordvpn is the issue. I've just managed to setup nordvpn servers for the merlin built in wireguardvpn but noticed i am unable to access google.com.

When connected to the nordvpn app, presumably it has changed the client's dns server to its own, so you lose local name resolution w/ dnsmasq on the router.
It appears to be related to norton 360 (according to nordvpn).

When the nordvpn was disconnected, the internet was on and there were no problems. I am using merlins 386.4. The security levels and purposes of these vpn protocols are different, but so are our customers’ needs. My windows 11 pc has recently developed an issue where norton 360 appears offline when nordvpn is active.
In all the years having a nordvpn subscription (4+ years) have never seen such a pop up message before.
For now i am using nordvpn on the router the normal way.
